John Wycliffe Primary School

‘Striving for excellence in all that we do!’

Uniform Information

We are very proud of our uniform at John Wycliffe and the Local Governing Body encourage the wearing of school uniform. Please remember to clearly label all clothing with your child’s name and class.

We recognise that the cost of uniform carrying school logos, as sourced from the supplier below, can be prohibitive. We therefore welcome children wearing non-branded items in the same style and colours that can be sourced from supermarkets or online vendors.

NAMING YOUR CHILD’S CLOTHES

It is essential that items are named, either with name tapes or a laundry marker, since they look identical. This is your way of helping your child to care for the clothes you have provided. We help the children to care for their belongings by  stressing the importance of caring for everyone’s clothing and equipment and reminding children to hang up coats and put PE kit away when changing in school.
